Your oven can only be delivered to the driveway/entrance to your property. It is entirely your responsability to position the oven in its intended position.
Pallet deliveries are usually made by large 18.5 tonne lorries. This means that access at the delivery point needs to be suitable for large vehicles. If you have ANY access issues to your property, there is the option to request a 7.5 tonne lorry. Unfortunately, failure to notify access issues will incur additional delivery charges. We can request that vehicles have both a tail-lift and pallet truck (pump truck) to help at locations where there is no forklift available.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Goods are guaranteed against damage in transit: Upon arrival, if there is any present or visible damage to the oven or goods, DO NOT sign for the goods and make a note on the delivery slip (returning with driver) providing the reason for refusal, together with the co-signature of the delivery driver. DO NOT sign for damaged goods and DO NOT accept goods, as ‘damage in transit’ as your insurance will be void, as there is no evidence the goods were not damaged whilst in your custody.
If you refuse to sign for the goods and return them, please contact The Outdoor Pizza Oven Shop immediately on 07872337270 / firstname.lastname@example.org (or at the latest within the same day), to report the nature of damage. We will arrange a replacement as soon as the details have been varified with the carriers. NB. Please keep delivery receipt/advice note to validate warranty if applicable and if possible please take photographs of any damage.
As the items are made to order, delivery can take upto 3 weeks, however we will keep you informed at all stages.
